Lux brought Anthony along with her to see how Cher was doing at the facility where she was getting care 24/7 about her blindness and how to cope in the real world.
"I miss you," Lux said as soon as they came in to her room filled with flowers. Lux had brought along some sunflowers. Cher's favorites. "Looks as if someone has beaten me to the flower department."
"Oh, everyday more flowers." Cher smiled. "All sorts of roses."
"From who?" Anthony looked at Cher who seemed to be doing well on her own, in spite of the strangeness of her eyes.
"Leon, of course." She beamed.
"He's been here?" Lux looked at Anthony who just shrugged.
"Yes," she almost giggled.
"What are you not telling us?" Lux glared at Cher even though it did no good. Cher sat there at the edge of her be hanging on to the edge.
"That he makes me happy." She told them.
"I can't get ahold of him," Lux said. "He's been gone for weeks now. What has he told you?"
"We really don't talk about him much," Cher sighed. "But he's amazing."
"I don't think we need to know how amazing he is," Anthony whispered in Lux's ear.
Lux just looked back at Anthony and whispered. "I wonder what he's up too?"
"He says he's going to take me away from here, the first chance he gets," Cher said. Lux could tell from her silly smiled that Cher believed it too.
